Unsettling Waste

Filmproject Unsettling Waste, started in 2023, in cooperation with D.O.P. Felix Schuster, Berlin, DE.

A repository for highly radioactive waste is intended to last for a period of one million years. This is longer than the entire history of humankind—a time span that is difficult for us as humans to comprehend. Through conversations with children, philosophers, scientists, artists, and engineers, the film explores what radioactive waste means for us and for future generations.
